About The Role


We are hiring for our Romanian Branch a Sales Representative who is responsible for using their knowledge of company products or services to connect with customers and generate sales, follow up on leads, answer customer questions, and meet sales quotas. The Sales Representative role is to maintain relationships with customers or business partners to inform them of new products or services, discounts, or product-related actions.

The Sales Representative is responsible for increasing Farmina products and services sales, market share, brand presence, and customer loyalty.


Key Responsibilities:


  • Present, promote, and sell products/services using solid arguments to existing and prospective customers.
  • Achieve agreed-upon sales targets and outcomes within the schedule.
  • Negotiating all contracts with prospective clients.
  • Preparing weekly and monthly reports for Senior management.
  • Giving sales presentations to a range of prospective clients.
  • Coordinating sales efforts with marketing programs.
  • Collaborate with colleagues in many different sectors.
  • Understanding and promoting company programs.
  • Develop a partnership to list and expand the product ranges with existing and potential new customers.
  • Manage trade conditions with customers following the agreed commercial policy;
  • Visiting clients and potential clients to evaluate needs or promote products and services.
  • Maintaining client records.
  • Answering client questions about credit terms, products, prices, and availability.
  • Coordinate sales efforts with team members and other departments.
  • Analyze the territory/market’s potential, track sales, and status reports.
  • Supply management with reports on customer needs, problems, interests, competitive activities, and potential for new products and services.
  • Keep abreast of best practices and promotional trends.
  • Perform cost-¬benefit and needs analysis of existing/potential customers to meet their needs.
  • Establish, develop, and maintain positive business and customer relationships.
  • Be knowledgeable about the product.
  • Identify prospective customers, lead generation, and conversion.
  • Emphasize the features of products to highlight how they solve customer problems.
  • Expedite the resolution of customer problems and complaints to maximize satisfaction.
  • Answer questions about the products.
  • Negotiate prices and terms and prepare sales agreements.
  • Maintain contact lists and follow up with customers to continue relationships
  • Preparing sales budgets and projections and approving expenditures.
  • Continuously improve through feedback.
  • Participate and represent the Company in specific pet/vet events.
  • Constantly build product knowledge; keep up to date with Farmina’s product portfolio;

Technical / Professional Qualifications / Requirements:


  • Bachelor’s degree in business, marketing, economics, or related field. Min 3-5 years of relevant experience.
  • College graduation, Veterinary Medical degree will be a plus.


  • Ability to achieve sales targets and achieve them effectively.
  • Understanding of the sales process and dynamics.
  • Customer service skills to listen to the concerns of a customer and be able to address their needs.
  • Interpersonal skills to work with a wide variety of people each day, build relationships, and network.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Good analytical skills to identify trends and sales patterns.
  • Planning, organization, and problem-solving skills.
  • Experience using computers for a variety of tasks.
  • Competency in Microsoft applications, including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
  • Positive and can-do attitude.
  • Comfortable in a fast-paced or high-pressure environment.
  • Capability to analyze the data.
  • Physical endurance, as Sales Representatives may need to spend a lot of time traveling between locations.
  • Effective conflict resolution and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent English communication at all levels.
  • Experience in planning, budgeting, and financial monitoring.
  • B category driving license


Languages: Fluent in Romanian and English (both spoken and written)
