About the Role
We're looking for a hands-on Sales Representative to be the face of our mattress showroom. This role is centered on direct customer engagement and closing sales, with additional responsibility for day-to-day store tasks, call handling, and keeping the showroom running smoothly.
Main Duties & Responsibilities
Sales
Actively sell in the showroom — engage customers directly, guide them through product options, and close sales
Drive personal sales targets and contribute to overall store KPIs
Contact new and existing partners to send customers to the shop
Store Operations
Support daily store operations (opening/closing, cash register, visual merchandising)
Ensure the shop's visual presentation matches the brand (styling, window displays)
Call Handling
Manage incoming customer calls and inquiries
Follow up on customer orders
Inventory Support
Help monitor stock levels and flag reorder needs to the Shop Manager/suppliers
Support loss-prevention practices
Customer Service
Handle customer complaints on the floor; escalate to the Manager when needed
Reporting
Report personal sales performance and relevant stock/customer feedback to the Shop Manager
The perfect candidate will possess
Experience in retail sales, ideally in furniture, home goods, mattresses, or a related big-ticket/showroom category
Proven ability to hit personal sales targets
Strong communication and customer service skills
Comfortable with basic cash register and store opening/closing procedures
Reliable, well-organized, and able to work as part of a small team
