The role:
We are looking for a SAP Basis Specialist – S4/HANA Upgrades & Conversion Projects for our office in VASS BRASOV, who would join a team of open-minded and personable people.
Collaboration type: Freelance or Employment contract
What You’ll Do
As a SAP Basis Specialist with 2 - 5 years of experience, you will play a main role in supporting SAP system upgrades, migrations, and conversions, from ECC6.0 to S/4HANA.
SAP System Administration: Strong BASIS fundamentals and hands-on experience with SAP system upgrades, installations, and migrations, Readiness Check, Simplification Item List, CVI, Migration Cockpit. SUM , SPAU, SPAD.
Upgrades and Implementations: Contribute to SAP release upgrades and system implementations (S/4HANA, ERP, CRM, etc.).
S/4HANA Conversion: Engage in S/4HANA system conversions, implementing best practices and optimizing performance.
Migration Expertise: Manage and execute SAP migrations, including Backup/Restore, Export/Import, or HSR (High-Speed Recovery).
Security & Infrastructure: Ensure SAP Application Security, Single Sign-On, High Availability, and Disaster Recovery.
Customer Support: Provide expert consulting and maintain high customer satisfaction, growing and developing strong client relationships.

What You Bring
SAP BASIS fundamentals with experience in at least 1-2 upgrades or implementations.
Knowledge of SAP HANA installations and migrations.
Understanding of S/4HANA Conversion processes and simplification items.
Familiarity with new SAP methodologies and technologies such as SAP BTP, BIGDATA, SDI, SLT, ILM.
Certifications in OS/DB Migration, SAP BASIS, or HANA DB are highly preferred.
Understanding of SAP Solution Manager 7.2 for technical monitoring, including BPM and interface monitoring.
Expertise in SAP Security (GRC, AC, IDM) and SAP Cloud Platform services.
Qualifications:

• SAP Certifications (NetWeaver, HANA, OSDB, or similar) preferred.
• Cloud certifications (AWS, Azure, Google Cloud) are a bonus.
