In this role, you will contribute primarily through hands‑on development, enhancement, and support of SAP BW solutions in international project and run contexts.What You’ll Be DoingDevelop, enhance, and maintain SAP BW / BW on HANA data warehouse solutionsBuild and support ADSOs, CompositeProviders, InfoObjects, and Open ODS ViewsImplement and maintain data extraction, transformation, and loading processesWork with S/4HANA source systems, including CDS‑based and ODP extractorsMonitor and improve data load performance, process chains, and data qualityAnalyze and resolve incidents, defects, and performance issues in BW environmentsSupport change requests and enhancements based on business requirementsCollaborate with reporting and analytics teams consuming BW data (e.g. SAC, BO, third‑party BI tools)Apply established BW modeling, transport, and security best practicesContribute to technical documentation and knowledge sharing within the teamParticipate in testing activities and support business users during validation phasesWhat You’ll Bring AlongBachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or equivalent experienceAt least 4 to 8 years of hands‑on experience in SAP BW or BW on HANA rolesStrong experience with: ADSOs, CompositeProviders, and InfoObjectsProcess Chains and data load monitoringDelta handling and data reconciliationPractical experience extracting data from S/4HANA or ECC systemsFamiliarity with CDS‑based and ODP extraction frameworksBasic understanding of HANA push‑down concepts and BW performance optimizationExperience with BW authorization conceptsAbility to work independently from functional specifications or business requirementsExperience supporting BW in project delivery and/or operational support environmentsComfortable working with international and distributed teamsNice to have: exposure to BW/4HANA or SAP DatasphereExperience supporting SAC consumption on top of BWParticipation in BW on HANA migrations, upgrades, or S/4HANA transitionsBasic knowledge of cloud or hybrid data platforms (Azure, Snowflake, Databricks)Interest in SAP’s evolving data and analytics roadmap (e.g. Datasphere, Business Data Cloud)Strong communication skills and fluent English; German is a plus.
