We are looking for a German‑speaking SAP HCM Consultant with a strong focus on Payroll (PY) and Time Management (PT) and solid knowledge of Personnel Administration (PA) and Organizational Management (OM) to support and develop complex SAP HCM landscape.
This role is functional–technical, close to the business, and mission‑critical for stable payroll operations and continuous optimization.
Key Responsibilities:

• End‑to‑end consulting and support for SAP HCM Payroll (PY) and Time Management (PT)
• Analysis, design, and implementation of payroll schemas, rules, and time evaluation
• Support and customization within PA and OM
• Handling payroll‑relevant issues, root‑cause analysis, and incident resolution
• Participation in rollouts, enhancements, and optimization initiatives
• Close collaboration with German‑speaking business stakeholders and HR departments
• Support of test cycles, payroll runs, and go‑live activities
• Documentation and knowledge transfer
• Coordination with technical teams (ABAP, integrations, CPI if relevant)
  

Qualifications
Must haves
Functional SAP HCM Expertise:

• Strong hands‑on experience with SAP HCM Payroll (PY)
• Strong hands‑on experience with SAP HCM Time Management (PT)
• Solid working knowledge of:
  • SAP HCM Personnel Administration (PA)
  • SAP HCM Organizational Management (OM)
    

Professional Background:

• 5+ years of SAP HCM consulting experience
• Experience working with German clients or DACH payroll processes
• Comfortable working in productive payroll environments
• Very good understanding of HR processes and dependencies
• Excellent English communication skills (written and spoken)
• German: fluent / business level (mandatory)

• SAP HCM Payroll Customizing
• Experience with interfaces to payroll providers
• Agile / SAFe project experience
• Automotive industry background
  

Things to know before departure:

• Start: by arrangement - always on the 1st and 15th of the month
• Working hours: full-time (40h); 27 vacation days
• Employment contract: Unlimited

• Flexibility & willingness to travel for on-site assignments
