Responsibilities
In ADSO, we are the EMEA AI Data Service and Operations team under TikTok Product (abbreviation: ADSO), mainly providing safety and non-safety data annotation services and search operation services for all of the company's international products, which can also help international products build their own data ecological security.
It is possible that this role will be exposed to harmful content as part of the core role/as part of project/ in response to escalation requests/by chance.
This may occur in the form of images, video, and text related to every-day life, but it can also include (but is not limited to) bullying; hate speech; child safety; depictions of harm to self and others, and harm to animals.
Responsibilities:
- You will lead, manage, recruit & develop the local search operation team, helping them to achieve their full potential and maintain high standards & quality of work
- You will continuously evaluate outcomes, manage performance, establish and optimize the workflow and SOPs, report, analyse, and optimize the quality process to ensure productivity, quality, and efficiency goals can be met
- You will lead the team to perform policy, process & strategy localization, BPO quality management, Quality assurance, RCA, data analysis & deep dives, making reports & policy recommendations and strengthening the team's understanding of Search Ops policies.
- You will lead the team to establish and maintain search strategy evaluation criteria, provide professional suggestions for the optimization of evaluation criteria;
- You are responsible for managing various operation projects with the different operation specialists and providing the results in line with expectations;
- You will cooperate with cross-functional teams such as product, research & development teams to optimize search strategies and improve users' search experience.
- Please note that this position involves exposure to sensitive content, including but not limited to vulgar content, violence, pornography, and fake news.
Qualifications
Minimum Qualifications
- You have 3+ years of experience working on content quality in a major tech or media company; with a minimum of 1 year of working experience in team management.
- Excellent communication skills with proven proficiency in English (both written and verbal), as English is the primary language used in daily business communication.
- You have a deep understanding of project management and data quality management;
- You pay strong attention to details and ability to work independently; You possess good interpersonal skills;
Preferred Qualifications

- Proven track record of working with cross-functional partners, across different countries, ideally have experience with different markets/region.
- Analytical skills & problem solving and data analytics.
- Ability to work in a high tempo environment, adapt, respond to day-to-day challenges of the role.
