Key responsibilities

• Coordinate monthly and annual closing processes together with the external accounting provider.

• Review the trial balance, accounting reconciliations, tax returns and SAF-T consistency.

• Coordinate the preparation of annual statutory financial statements and ensure compliance with financial and tax-reporting deadlines.

• Prepare Group reporting packages in Lucanet and perform intercompany reconciliations.

• Coordinate the annual budgeting process and prepare P&L, Balance Sheet and Cash Flow forecasts.

• Monitor budget execution, analyse variances and provide relevant financial insights to management.

• Prepare monthly cash-flow statements and monitor liquidity, payments and collections.

• Review supplier and customer balances, incoming invoices, inventory accounts and supporting documentation.

• Coordinate annual and periodic inventory counts.

• Prepare payment orders and maintain relationships with banks and financial authorities.

• Coordinate payroll and personnel administration activities with the external provider.

• Maintain the operational relationship with SAP IT support and ensure the proper localisation and functionality of SAP.

• Prepare the INTRASTAT declaration and support tax audits when required.

• Ensure the proper administration and archiving of financial and accounting documents.

Candidate profile

• University degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics or a related field.

• Minimum 10 years of experience in finance and accounting, including at least 4 years in a senior finance role.

• Strong knowledge of Romanian accounting, taxation, statutory reporting and financial compliance.

• Hands-on experience with closing, budgeting, forecasting, cash-flow management and Group reporting.

• Experience coordinating external accounting and payroll providers.

• Knowledge of SAP and good Microsoft Excel skills.

• Good command of English.

• Strong analytical, organisational and communication skills.

• High attention to detail and ability to work under tight reporting deadlines.

• Proactive, hands-on and results-oriented approach.
