Key Responsibilities

• Prepare and review monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements in accordance with Romanian Accounting Standards and IFRS
• Perform financial analysis and prepare management reports highlighting key business trends, performance indicators, and financial risks
• Analyze operating expenses, production costs, inventory movements, and profitability drivers
• Support budgeting and forecasting processes by providing financial data, variance analysis, and actionable insights
• Reconcile general ledger accounts and ensure the accuracy and integrity of financial records
• Coordinate statutory reporting, tax-related submissions, and support internal and external audits
• Ensure compliance with Romanian legislation, internal controls, and corporate accounting policies
• Collaborate with Operations, Supply Chain, and other business functions to improve financial processes and reporting efficiency
• Contribute to the development and enhancement of financial reporting tools, dashboards, and ERP-based reporting solutions

Manpower Romania is currently looking for a Senior Accountant – Financial Analysis & Reporting in Bistrita for one of its clients, an international manufacturer of advanced composite materials serving the automotive and industrial sectors, with a strong focus on innovation, sustainability, and operational excellence.
In this role, you will be responsible for overseeing accounting activities, ensuring accurate financial reporting, and providing insightful financial analysis to support business decision-making. You will work closely with operational and finance teams to monitor financial performance, improve processes, and ensure compliance with local and international accounting standards.
Profile We Are Looking For

• Minimum 5 years of experience in accounting, preferably within a manufacturing or industrial environment
• Strong knowledge of Romanian Accounting Standards, IFRS, and statutory reporting requirements
• Proven experience in financial analysis, management reporting, and variance analysis
• Experience working with ERP systems (EPICOR, SAP, Oracle, or similar)
• Advanced Excel skills, including data analysis and reporting capabilities
• Strong analytical thinking, attention to detail, and problem-solving skills
• Ability to communicate financial information effectively to both finance and non-finance stakeholders
• Fluent in English
