As a Senior Accountant, you will play a crucial role in our finance team. You will not only ensure the accuracy of our financial reports but also contribute to strategic financial planning and decision-making that impacts thousands of lives across Central and Southeastern Europe.

Your Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare, review, and analyze financial statements, ensuring compliance with accounting standards and regulations.
• Manage the month-end and year-end closing processes, including reconciliations and journal entries.
• Ensure timely and accurate preparation of tax returns and compliance with local tax regulations.
• Assist with budget preparation and forecasting, providing insights to support financial planning.
• Collaborate with various teams across the organization to provide financial insights and guidance.
• Support audits and liaise with external auditors, ensuring a smooth and efficient audit process.
• Continuously seek opportunities for process improvements and efficiencies within the accounting function.

Requirements

What You Bring to the Team:

• A Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• At least 3 years of experience in accounting or finance, preferably within a multinational environment.
• Strong knowledge of accounting principles, practices, and regulations.
• Proficiency in accounting software and MS Excel; experience with ERP systems is a plus.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with a keen eye for detail.
• Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to present financial information clearly.
• Fluency in English is required; proficiency in another language is a plus.
• A proactive attitude and willingness to embrace challenges in a fast-paced environment.
