What you’ll do:

• Manage accounting processes, including journal postings, BS reconciliations, and ensuring compliance with local fiscal and group regulations;
• Assist with the preparation of monthly tax declaration (D300, D390, D394) and Income Tax;
• Assist with the preparation of half-year accounting reports and annual financial statements;
• Preparing statistical reports as required by the National Bank of Romania and the National Institute of Statistics;
• Align with the group’s chart of accounts and internal procedures;
• Specific Month End Closing activities;
• Providing assistance during financial and tax audits and whenever required;
• Actively participate in annual statutory audits and internal audits;
• Ensure any ad-hoc reporting that might be required is delivered in a timely and accurate manner.

We are looking for a Senior Accountant who will play a key role in:

• Managing and executing core accounting processes;
• Supporting accurate and timely financial reporting;
• Ensuring compliance with local regulations and group standards.

What you bring:

• University degree in Accounting or Finance;
• 4-5 years in accounting, ideally within a corporate environment;
• Very good level of English – written and spoken;
• Solid knowledge of Romanian accounting principles (CECCAR trainee or member is an advantage);
• Computer skills (MS Office);
• Strong analytical skills and attention to detail;
• Ability to work in a fast paced environment and tight deadlines;
• Team spirit, willing to learn new things, proactive.
