Key responsibilities:

• Engage with business stakeholders to gather and understand reporting requirements.

• Contribute to the modernization of the company's data infrastructure by transitioning to a scalable, automated BI and analytics environment.

• Develop, optimize, and maintain SQL queries for data extraction and analysis.

• Design and create interactive dashboards and reports in Qlik Sense and Power BI.

• Ensure data accuracy and consistency across reports and visualizations.

• Work with relational databases and AWS Redshift or PostgreSQL as the primary data sources.

• Collaborate with data engineers to improve data pipelines and ETL processes.

• Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to BI reports and dashboards.

• Provide support and training to end-users on BI tools.

• Optimize performance of reports and dashboards for better efficiency.

• Provide mentorship to other team members, guiding them through technical challenges and helping them grow in their roles.

• Lead code reviews and ensure best practices are followed across the engineering team.

Technical Requirements:

• 4+ years in BI developer, Data Analysis, Data Engineering, or similar positions.

• Strong SQL skills, including writing and optimizing queries for relational databases (AWS RedShift, PostgreSQL, Oracle SQL, MYSQL).

• Hands-on experience with Qlik Sense and Power BI for data visualization.

• Experience in data modeling and ETL processes. Experience with Apache Airflow is a plus.

• Ability to translate business needs into technical BI solutions.

• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

• Good communication skills for interacting with business teams.

• Experience working with large datasets and data warehouses is a plus.

• Knowledge of DAX (Power BI) and Qlik scripting is preferred.

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Data Analytics, or a related field.

Nice to have

• Experience with at least one programming Python, Java, etc.

• Understand data governance, security best practices, and compliance regulations.

• Familiarity with agile methodologies and working in cross-functional teams.

• Familiarity with Machine Learning concepts.
