Requirements

Business Analysis & Discovery
•
5+ years Business Analysis experience within complex technology programmes.
•
Proven experience undertaking discovery, process analysis, dependency mapping, or service modelling activities.
•
Strong workshop facilitation and stakeholder engagement capabilities.
•
Experience working within large-scale transformation or migration programmes.
Technical & Operational Understanding
•
Ability to understand application, infrastructure, service, and operational dependencies.
•
Familiarity with Configuration Management Databases (CMDBs) and service management processes.
•
Experience working with tools such as ServiceNow or similar enterprise platforms.
•
Understanding of operational readiness, release management, migration, or cutover planning activities.

Understanding of a complex technology domain, ideally including both compute and network infrastructure

Responsibilities

1. Configuration Item Discovery & Analysis
•
Identify and catalogue EED and venue CIs across ServiceNow, FeedCorrect, architecture repositories, operational documentation, and other relevant sources.
•
Identify relationships between service components, especially those not captured in current reference data sources
•
Establish ownership and accountability for identified assets and services.
•
Assess the quality and completeness of existing CI and dependency data.
•
Identify gaps, inconsistencies, and areas requiring remediation.
2. End-to-End Dependency Mapping
•
Produce front-to-back dependency mappings across business processes, services, applications, infrastructure, feeds, venues, and operational teams.
•
Develop clear traceability between technology assets and business outcomes.
•
Document upstream and downstream impacts associated with planned migration and cutover activities.
•
Create dependency models that can be consumed by programme delivery, operations, and governance functions.
3. Cutover Impact Assessment
•
Support the development of cutover impact assessments for migration events.
•
Identify affected systems, processes, users, customers, operational teams, and external stakeholders.
•
Provide analysis to support go/no-go decision making and cutover governance forums.
•
Ensure impact assessments are evidence-based and fully traceable to validated dependency data.
4. Stakeholder Engagement & Validation
•
Facilitate workshops with technical SMEs, architects, engineers, operations teams, and business stakeholders.
•
Validate dependency mappings and impact assessments with appropriate subject matter experts.
•
Challenge assumptions and resolve conflicting information across multiple sources.
•
Build strong working relationships across programme streams and operational teams.
5. Cutover Readiness Artefacts
•
Produce dependency maps, impact assessments, service models, and supporting documentation.
•
Contribute to cutover runbooks, readiness reviews, governance packs, and operational readiness assessments.
•
Create management information and reporting to support programme leadership and governance bodies.
•
Maintain a controlled repository of dependency and impact analysis artefacts.
6. Risk, Governance & Controls
•
Identify risks arising from incomplete dependency information or unclear ownership.
•
Escalate issues affecting cutover readiness and migration planning.
•
Ensure all analysis and documentation are auditable, structured, and aligned with programme governance standards.
•
Support regulatory and operational risk considerations where applicable.

The Full Tick Re-platform Programme (FTRP) requires a comprehensive understanding of the end-to-end impacts associated with migration and cutover activities.
The Senior Business Analyst will be responsible for creating a consolidated and validated view of EED and venue Configuration Items (CIs), their associated dependencies, and downstream business impacts. This capability will provide the programme with the traceability required to accurately assess the impact of cutover activities, support go/no-go decision making, and enable safe execution of migration events.
This is not a traditional requirements-gathering role. It is a discovery, analysis, dependency-mapping, and operational-readiness role focused on establishing a definitive understanding of the programme's estate and its interdependencies.
