Job Description

As a Business Analyst (Agile/Scrum), you will help scope, define, design and deliver solutions that provide business outcomes and will serve as a facilitator between the IT Global Delivery Europe Team and Business Stakeholders. This role works with the IT Delivery Team consisting of Product Manager, Product Owner, Scrum Master, Software Developers, Business Analysts & Business Stakeholders to evaluate business and technical requirements, identify needs, and support development of strategies to maximize digital opportunities. They will create functional and nonfunctional product backlog items and user stories for application deployment, enhancement, predictive insights, AI/ML and other digital solutions in the manufacturing industry.

Requirement Elicitation & User Story Management

Work with the Product Manager, Scrum Master, and Product Owner to define the project’s detailed scope.

Create, refine, and maintain user stories and associated deliverables (., process flows, test cases) to meet development and stakeholder needs.

Collaborate with the Product Owner and other Business Analysts on prioritizing user stories in the product backlog.

Partner with the Product Owner and Business Analysts to define acceptance criteria sufficiently for testing.

Work with the Product Owner to confirm that delivered solutions fulfill stated requirements.

Collaborate with business stakeholders to test user stories.

Qualifications

Key requirements:

Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Information Technology, or a related field.

5+ years of experience as a Business Analyst working on information technology projects.

Experience in business analysis, preferably within supply chain or logistics environments.

Basic understanding of supply chain concepts and systems.

Strong analytical, problem-solving, and critical-thinking skills.

Good communication and interpersonal skills.

Fluent in English, both written and spoken. Proficiency in requirements gathering techniques, process modeling, and documentation.

Solid understanding of business requirements and process mapping.

Familiarity with project management methodologies and the software development lifecycle (SDLC)

Knowledge of tools such as Microsoft Visio, JIRA, Confluence, and similar platforms.

Highly desirable skills:

Functional knowledge of supply chain end-to-end processes, including: Planning and scheduling (MRP); Sourcing; Procure-to-Pay; Inbound logistics.

Functional and application knowledge of ERP systems, preferably Oracle EBS R12, including: Inventory; Order-to-Cash; Procure-to-Pay; Process Manufacturing.

Hands-on implementation experience with Oracle EBS R12 or other ERP systems. Functional and application knowledge of ERP systems, preferably Oracle EBS R12, including: Inventory; Order-to-Cash; Procure-to-Pay; Process Manufacturing. Hands-on implementation experience with Oracle EBS R12 or other ERP systems. High-level knowledge of EDI. Ability to design and deliver custom solutions. Experience integrating ERP systems with third-party solutions (., WMS, EDI solutions, planning tools) Expertise in supply chain or ERP systems such as BlueYonder (JDA), BluJay, Oracle EBS, SAP, or other related TMS, WMS, or SCM platforms. Knowledge of Oracle EBS database models for the modules listed above Experience using PL/SQL for data management and insights within Oracle EBS.
