We are looking for a skilled Senior Data Analyst to support our organization’s data-first strategies by analyzing existing database structures and designing new, scalable data models. This role focuses on ensuring compliance with industry standards and regulations while optimizing data management practices to provide actionable insights and improve business operations.

Responsibilities

• Analyze existing database structures to understand data flows, relationships, and dependencies
• Document current database schema, data dictionaries, and data lineage
• Collaborate with product owners, data architects and software engineers to design scalable and efficient data models aligned with best practices
• Translate business requirements into technical specifications for data models and databases
• Understand and apply relevant data governance, data privacy and regulatory requirements
• Create and maintain data models, diagrams, and documentation
• Identify areas for improvement and optimization in current database structures
• Develop and implement data quality checks and validation processes
• Monitor and resolve data quality issues to maintain data integrity
• Work with stakeholders to gather insights and support cross-functional alignment
• Provide training and guidance to users on new data models and database structures
• Communicate findings, insights, and recommendations to both technical and non-technical stakeholders

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Data Science or a related field
• 3+ years of experience as a Data Analyst or similar role
• Proficiency in SQL and experience with database management systems such as MySQL, PostgreSQL, SQL Server
• Understanding of NoSQL data stores and JSON document modeling
• Background in data modeling concepts and familiarity with tools like ERwin, ER/Studio
• Knowledge of data governance, data privacy and regulatory requirements
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving and critical-thinking skills
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills to liaise with diverse stakeholders
• Capability to work in an agile, collaborative and fast-paced environment
• English proficiency at a B2+ level
