We are a distributed group of DevOps and Cloud engineers within NTT DATA Romania, the team that transforms complexity into reliability, automation, and scalable platforms. Known as the DevOps Competence Center, we support teams across all business units by delivering end‑to‑end expertise in CI/CD, Cloud‑native engineering, Infrastructure as Code, Kubernetes platforms, and observability. Our experience spans industries such as Automotive, Telecom, Finance, e‑Commerce, Public Sector, and large enterprise SaaS products. Focused on Docker, Kubernetes, OpenShift, AWS, Azure, GCP, and Terraform‑based automation, we design reference architectures, standardize delivery models, and enable microservices‑driven environments for our strategic clients.

We’re looking for a skilled Senior DevOps Engineer to design, deploy, and manage cloud infrastructure supporting data and analytics platforms. You’ll work closely with development and operations teams to ensure scalable, secure, and high-performing systems.
What You'll Be Doing

• Automate infrastructure with Terraform and ARM templates
• Build CI/CD pipelines and automation with PowerShell and YAML
• Manage Azure IaaS & PaaS resources efficiently
• Configure Azure networking: App Gateways, Firewalls, API Management
• Monitor infrastructure using Azure tools and third-party observability platforms
• Implement OAuth2/OpenID Connect with Entra ID
• Govern resources using Azure Policies
• Design geo-redundant, highly available systems
• Apply basic SQL in deployment and support tasks
• Ensure infrastructure security, compliance (e.g., PCI DSS)
• Optimize cloud costs using Azure Cost Management tools
• OnCall availability (if needed)
• Contribute to a collaborative team environment while working independently
• Participate in Agile Scrum teams, continuously improving delivery pipelines
  

What You'll Bring Along

• Bachelor’s in Informatics or related field, or equivalent experience
• Minimum 5 years experience in a DevOps role
• Strong with Terraform, PowerShell, YAML
• Deep Azure experience (IaaS/PaaS), networking, and identity management
• Understanding of redundancy, scaling, and policy enforcement
• Basic SQL skills
• Familiarity with CI/CD, Agile, Scrum
• Experience with security best practices and incident response
• Excellent problem-solving, communication, and mentoring skills
• Solid practical experience with Docker and Kubernetes is expected
• Certifications in Azure or DevOps are valued
• Strong communication skills in English (German is a plus)
• Ability to explain technical solutions in a business context
