Responsibilities:Lead the electrical engineering design for utility-scale renewable energy projects, including HV/MV substations, transformer stations, grid connection facilities.Analyze project requirements, technical specifications, and grid connection conditions to define design criteria and engineering solutions.Prepare and review electrical design documentation for HV, MV, and LV installations, including technical reports, calculations, drawings, and specifications.Develop single-line diagrams, substation layouts, cable routing plans, earthing and lightning protection systems.Design and coordinate power transformers, switchgear, protection and control systems, auxiliary AC/DC systems, and substation equipment.Perform electrical studies, including load flow, short-circuit, voltage drop, cable sizing, grounding, and protection coordination.Review and approve electrical calculations and technical documentation prepared internally or by external engineering partners.Prepare technical specifications (RFQs) and evaluate suppliers' technical offers in collaboration with the Procurement Department.Ensure compliance with ANRE regulations, Romanian Grid Code and other applicable international standards.Coordinate electrical interfaces with civil, mechanical, SCADA, protection & control, and telecom disciplines.Provide engineering support during permitting, procurement, construction, commissioning, and grid energization activities.Review and validate technical documentation received from equipment manufacturers, EPC contractors, and subcontractors.Participate in technical meetings with clients, consultants, and authorities.Support project planning and ensure timely delivery of engineering milestones.Perform site visits and support factory acceptance tests (FAT), site acceptance tests (SAT), commissioning, and troubleshooting activities when required. Required Qualifications:Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field (e.g., Power Engineering, Electrotechnics, Energy Engineering, or similar technical disciplines).ANRE III certification.2–5 years of experience in electrical design for MV/LV systems.Knowledge of Romanian electrical regulations and grid connection requirements.Good knowledge of AutoCAD or BricsCAD.Experience in renewable energy projects (PV plants) is considered an advantage.Fluent in English and Romanian Show more Show less
