⭐ Senior Electrical Design Engineer

About the role
An international engineering group active in water and utilities infrastructure is expanding its technical team in Bucharest and is looking for a Senior Electrical Design Engineer.
In this role, you will be involved in electrical design and technical coordination for complex infrastructure projects, including networks, pumping stations, treatment plants and industrial installations.
Key responsibilities
Electrical design and technical support for water and infrastructure projects
Preparation and review of electrical drawings, layouts, cable routing, equipment specifications and calculations
Development of single-line diagrams, cable lists, panel layouts, load calculations and BOQs
Coordination with civil, mechanical, hydraulic and process engineering teams
Collaboration with subcontractors and international technical partners
Participation in site visits, commissioning support and as-built documentation
Ensuring compliance with LV/MV standards, safety regulations and project requirements
Requirements
Degree in Electrical Engineering
Experience in electrical design for industrial, utilities or infrastructure projects
Strong knowledge of electrical distribution systems, LV/MV and industrial installations
Solid experience with AutoCAD 2D and MS Office
Familiarity with ETAP, Caneco or other electrical calculation tools is a strong advantage
Basic understanding of SCADA / PLC is an advantage
Ability to interpret P&ID and technical drawings
English – advanced
French – medium
Strong analytical skills, attention to detail, teamwork and communication ability
