Senior Financial Analyst @Freshful by eMAG

As a Senior Financial Analyst in our team, you’ll be working closely with your stakeholders in order to optimize financial results for a specific department in Freshful by eMAG. You’ll achieve this by analyzing actuals, identifying business opportunities and risks, while understanding and correlating different business elements.

What you’ll have to do:

• Be responsible for managing Freshful main cost elements & drivers (Warehouse & Transportation), with a focus on key operational metrics such as Cost per Order.
• Ensure that the budget is properly executed and spending is adequate/ in line with the budget/ expected performance (OPEX & CAPEX), including review and validation of expenses.
• Take part in budget preparation and review, prepare other business cases and Operations PnLs.
• Perform periodic cost & performance monitoring, conduct cost gap analyses to identify variances between actuals and targets, and identify financial and operational key issues/ opportunities that should be addressed.
• Prepare and analyze consolidated & multidimensional financial reports on actuals, including P&L forecasting and Month Closing activities, as well as monthly/ quarterly/ yearly / long term forecasts to help guide company strategy.
• Perform various business performance analyses to support strategy execution.
• Work closely with Operations Managers, Finance Managers, CFO & take part in/ lead various performance improvement projects.
• Develop and maintain a close relationship with stakeholders and their teams.
• Constantly simplify workflows and drive change for improving team and company performance.
• Evaluate financial results and ROI of key initiatives, identifying risks and opportunities together with proposed solutions.
• Leverage AI tools and automation to drive productivity improvements across Finance, enhancing efficiency and accuracy, as well as across Warehouse and Transportation operations, delivering measurable operational and financial impact.
• Collaborate with relevant teams to develop and deploy BI tools and reports that enable correct business evaluation and support efficient operations.
• Get involved in projects and constantly contribute to improving business efficiency.

What makes you a good fit:

• Are passionate about further developing your knowledge and skills.
• Have 5-7 years of work experience with at least 4 years of experience working in Audit, Financial Analysis, Controlling or Consulting.
• Have budgeting, planning and/or cost control knowledge.
• Have a University Degree in Economic Studies.
• Are an Excel master.
• Speak English fluently.
• Have the ability to work with different groups and levels within an organization.
• Have the ability to take the lead in internal discussions and negotiations.
