Timesact is a Built for Shopify certified app serving 16,000+ merchants with preorder and back-in-stock solutions. We help Shopify stores capture revenue from out-of-stock situations through reliable, no-code tools that handle catalogs from a few SKUs to 20,000+ products.

We're a small, focused team that values technical excellence, fast execution, and direct customer impact. Our infrastructure choices prioritize reliability over cost-cutting, and we ship features weekly.

The Role

We're looking for a full-time senior or strong mid-level full-stack developer to work alongside our CTO as a production-focused partner. This isn't about grand architecture debates—it's about shipping features every week while maintaining quality.

You'll receive clear, detailed instructions on what to build, implement functional patterns based on reference examples, turn customer feedback into working prototypes in days (not weeks), and help us build micro-apps within our main platform.

This is B2B collaboration (PFA/SRL contract), not employment, and includes a 1-month trial period.

What You'll Actually Do

• Week 1: CTO shows you a desired app feature. You analyze it, propose implementation approach, build a working prototype by Friday.
• Week 2: Refine based on feedback, launch beta version.
• Ongoing: Ship 1-2 customer-facing features per week, mostly front-end heavy with solid back-end fundamentals.
• Work directly with CTO on scoping; he handles high-level architecture, you handle execution and tactical problem-solving.
• Minimal design work (we'll provide designs or you adapt existing patterns).

Required SkillsMandatory:

• Strong React and Node.js experience — production-grade, not just tutorials
• Solid JavaScript fundamentals — ES6+, async/await, promises, modern patterns
• HTML5 & CSS3 — semantic markup, responsive design, cross-browser compatibility
• SQL databases — PostgreSQL or MySQL (queries, indexing, schema design)
• GraphQL — queries, mutations, schema design, resolver patterns
• RESTful APIs — design, implementation, authentication, error handling
• Git version control — branching, PRs, collaborative workflows
• OAuth 2.0 & webhooks — authentication flows, secure API integrations
• Google Cloud Platform — deployment, Cloud Run, Cloud SQL, basic DevOps

Bonus (Shopify Experience):

• Shopify app development experience is a significant advantage — if you've built Shopify apps before (Admin API, webhooks, OAuth, embedded apps), you'll ramp up much faster
• Shopify Admin API (REST/GraphQL)
• Shopify App Bridge / Embedded App SDK
• Shopify Billing API
• Liquid templating and theme integration
• Metafields and metaobjects

If you have Shopify experience, highlight it prominently — we're building for the Shopify ecosystem and familiarity accelerates onboarding significantly.

Frontend: React, JavaScript, jQuery, HTML5/CSS3, Shopify Polaris (if applicable)

Backend: Node.js, GraphQL, SQL (PostgreSQL/MySQL), GCP

Shopify (bonus): Admin API, Webhooks, Embedded App SDK/App Bridge, Billing API, OAuth
