🚀 Senior IT Business Analyst / Requirements Engineer

Are you passionate about translating complex business needs into innovative digital solutions? Join our team as a Senior IT Business Analyst and play a key role in shaping large-scale banking and digital transformation initiatives.

In this role, you will act as the bridge between business stakeholders and engineering teams, driving the analysis, design, and implementation of solutions that deliver real business value.

What You'll Do

✔ Gather, analyze, and document business and functional requirements for complex IT solutions

✔ Translate business needs into detailed user stories, specifications, and solution designs

✔ Design and optimize business processes to support target-state operating models

✔ Collaborate closely with Product Owners, Project Managers, Architects, and Software Engineers in Agile environments

✔ Define API specifications, data mappings, and backend requirements

✔ Create process flows, BPMN models, use case diagrams, and other functional documentation

✔ Support solution implementation and ensure alignment between business and technical teams

✔ Contribute to test scenario creation and Test-Driven Development activities

What We're Looking For

✅ Extensive experience in Requirements Engineering or Business Analysis within large-scale IT projects

✅ Strong experience working in Agile/Scrum teams alongside software engineers

✅ Proven expertise in writing detailed user stories and functional specifications

✅ Experience with API design, Swagger/OpenAPI definitions, API testing tools (Postman, Bruno)

✅ Strong understanding of system integrations and data-driven APIs

✅ Experience creating BPMN, Use Case Diagrams, Flowcharts, Data Flow Diagrams, and State Diagrams

✅ Excellent analytical, communication, and stakeholder management skills

✅ Experience within Retail Banking IT environments is highly valued

✅ Fluent English; German language skills (B1+) are a plus

✅ Google Cloud knowledge is a nice-to-have

✅ Hybrid working model – 2 days per week from the office
