We are looking for an experienced Senior Java Developer to join our engineering team. In this role, you will design, develop, and maintain high-quality, scalable, and secure enterprise applications. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver innovative software solutions while contributing to technical architecture, mentoring team members, and driving engineering excellence.

As a senior developer, you will play a key role in shaping technical decisions, improving development processes, and ensuring the delivery of reliable and high-performing software products.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, test, and maintain enterprise-grade Java applications.
• Build scalable microservices and RESTful APIs using modern Java frameworks.
• Participate in software architecture and technical design discussions.
• Develop clean, maintainable, and reusable code following industry best practices.
• Collaborate with product owners, business analysts, QA engineers, and DevOps teams to deliver high-quality solutions.
• Optimize application performance, scalability, and security.
• Integrate applications with databases, third-party services, and cloud platforms.
• Write unit, integration, and automated tests to ensure software quality.
• Perform code reviews and provide technical guidance to junior developers.
• Troubleshoot complex production issues and implement sustainable solutions.
• Contribute to CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices.
• Stay up to date with emerging Java technologies and software development trends.

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.
• 5+ years of professional experience in Java development.
• Strong proficiency in Java 11/17/21.
• Hands-on experience with Spring Boot, Spring Framework, and Spring Security.
• Strong knowledge of microservices architecture and RESTful API development.
• Experience with Hibernate, JPA, and relational databases such as PostgreSQL, Oracle, MySQL, or SQL Server.
• Experience with messaging technologies such as Apache Kafka, RabbitMQ, or ActiveMQ.
• Knowledge of containerization using Docker and orchestration with Kubernetes.
• Experience with cloud platforms such as AWS, Microsoft Azure, or Google Cloud Platform (GCP).
• Familiarity with CI/CD tools such as Jenkins, GitHub Actions, GitLab CI, or Azure DevOps.
• Strong understanding of software design patterns and object-oriented programming principles.
• Experience with Git and Agile/Scrum methodologies.
• Excellent analytical, communication, and problem-solving skills.

Nice to Have

• Experience with reactive programming using Spring WebFlux.
• Knowledge of event-driven architecture (EDA).
• Experience with NoSQL databases such as MongoDB, Cassandra, or Redis.
• Familiarity with Infrastructure as Code (Terraform, Helm).
• Experience with monitoring and observability tools such as Prometheus, Grafana, ELK Stack, or Datadog.
• Exposure to frontend technologies such as Angular or React.
• Knowledge of OAuth2, JWT, OpenID Connect, and application security best practices.
• Experience working in distributed, cloud-native environments.
