We are seeking an experienced Senior Java Developer to join our engineering team and contribute to the design, development, and maintenance of scalable, high-performance enterprise applications. You will play a key role throughout the software development lifecycle, working closely with architects, product owners, QA engineers, and DevOps teams to deliver reliable, secure, and innovative solutions.

As a senior team member, you will also provide technical leadership, mentor junior developers, and help drive engineering best practices across the team.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain enterprise-grade Java applications using modern development frameworks and best practices.
• Build scalable microservices and RESTful APIs to support distributed systems.
• Participate in architecture discussions and contribute to technical solution design.
• Write clean, maintainable, and well-tested code following coding standards and design principles.
• Perform code reviews and provide constructive feedback to team members.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including Product Owners, Business Analysts, QA Engineers, and DevOps engineers.
• Troubleshoot complex technical issues and optimize application performance.
• Contribute to CI/CD pipelines and automated deployment processes.
• Ensure application security, scalability, reliability, and maintainability.
• Mentor junior developers and support knowledge sharing within the team.
• Participate in Agile ceremonies, including sprint planning, daily stand-ups, reviews, and retrospectives.

Required Skills & Experience

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.
• 5+ years of professional experience in Java software development.
• Strong experience with Java 11, Java 17, or newer versions.
• Excellent knowledge of Spring Boot, Spring Framework, Spring MVC, Spring Data, and Spring Security.
• Strong experience designing and developing RESTful APIs and microservices.
• Solid understanding of object-oriented programming, design patterns, and SOLID principles.
• Experience with relational databases such as PostgreSQL, Oracle, MySQL, or SQL Server.
• Knowledge of ORM frameworks such as Hibernate or JPA.
• Experience with messaging technologies such as Kafka, RabbitMQ, or ActiveMQ.
• Familiarity with Docker and containerized applications.
• Experience with Kubernetes and cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud Platform) is highly desirable.
• Experience with Git and modern CI/CD tools such as Jenkins, GitHub Actions, GitLab CI, or Azure DevOps.
• Strong understanding of software architecture, scalability, and performance optimization.
• Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Strong communication skills and fluent English.

• Experience with event-driven architectures.
• Knowledge of NoSQL databases such as MongoDB, Cassandra, or Redis.
• Experience with GraphQL.
• Familiarity with Infrastructure as Code tools such as Terraform.
• Experience with monitoring and observability tools such as Prometheus, Grafana, ELK Stack, or Datadog.
• Knowledge of Testcontainers, JUnit 5, Mockito, and integration testing best practices.
• Experience working with high-availability, cloud-native, or mission-critical applications.
