We are looking for an experienced Senior Java Developer to join our engineering team and contribute to the design, development, and maintenance of scalable enterprise applications. The ideal candidate has strong backend development expertise, solid software architecture knowledge, and experience working in agile environments.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, test, and maintain high-performance Java applications
• Build scalable microservices and RESTful APIs
• Collaborate with product managers, QA engineers, DevOps, and other developers
• Participate in architecture discussions and technical decision-making
• Review code and mentor junior developers
• Optimize application performance and troubleshoot production issues
• Ensure code quality through unit testing, integration testing, and best practices
• Contribute to CI/CD pipelines and deployment processes
• Write technical documentation and maintain development standards

Required Skills & Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in Java development
• Strong knowledge of Java 11/17+
• Experience with Spring Framework / Spring Boot
• Solid understanding of microservices architecture
• Experience with REST APIs and event-driven systems
• Good knowledge of SQL and relational databases (PostgreSQL, MySQL, Oracle)
• Experience with Git and version control workflows
• Familiarity with Docker and Kubernetes
• Understanding of CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices
• Experience with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or GCP
• Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
• Excellent communication and teamwork abilities
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related field

Nice to Have

• Experience with Kafka or RabbitMQ
• Knowledge of NoSQL databases (MongoDB, Cassandra)
• Experience with Terraform or Infrastructure as Code
• Exposure to frontend technologies (Angular, React)
• Experience in fintech, healthcare, or enterprise environments
