Senior Java Infrastructure Developer

We are an international development team consisting of 6 passionate developers of all ages, in Romania, Portugal and Switzerland. We accompany our applications along the entire product life cycle. Our containerized Spring-based services and our Java-based desktop client combine state-of-the-art technologies and tools. We are looking for an experienced, motivated and communicative senior software developer to join our self-organized agile team. You’ll bring your strong Java Spring knowledge to help us further modernize our products. You’ll learn complex customer requirements in the financial sector and design effective solutions for which you take joint responsibility.

Responsibilities

• Analysis, specification, implementation and testing of new functions and modules in Java, as well as modern operations concerns (containerization, security, observability, etc.)
• Carrying out code and design reviews together with team colleagues
• Close cooperation with other development teams on-site and other offices, the business analysis and with software consultants for the development of solutions
• Advising the business department on feasibility, variants and forming opinions
• Error analysis and maintenance of existing software parts, support of the operation at our customers within the scope of third-level support
• 3rd-level supporting our consultants in Switzerland, Frankfurt and Luxembourg with the roll-out of changes at our customers' sites

Qualifications

• Several years of experience as a software engineer of server applications (Java, REST, Spring, Spring Cloud)
• Knowledge in at least one or more of these is required:

o  Containerization technologies as Podman / Docker

o  LDAP / OAuth2 / OIDC integrations with Keycloak or other IDPs

o  Observability with Elastic Stack

o  Linux / Bash development for DevOps and / or pipelines tools

• Passion for producing high quality, production-ready and proven code
• Team player with agile mindset and living the agile values
• Broad knowledge of development tools and of tools and libraries in the Java environment (Git, GitLab, Gradle, SQL, etc.)
• Eager to learn the business domain in the fund and asset management industry
• University degree in computer science or business informatics or equivalent experience in software development
• Good knowledge of English
