We embrace a vertically integrated business model with strategic design, manufacturing, distribution, sales and support centers around the world to maximize our value to customers.Working closely with multiple departments and supporting our colleagues across the organization, we are seeking a Labor Specialist in Garmin Cluj office, who combines labor legislation expertise with a hands-on approach, strong attention to detail, and a passion for delivering high-quality employee support and guidance.Responsibilities:Manage and oversee employee lifecycle processes, including hiring, employment changes, transfers, promotions, and terminationsMonitor and interpret labor legislation and payroll related regulations, ensuring timely implementation of required changesServe as the organization's subject matter expert on Romanian labor law, labor relations, employment practices, and statutory compliance requirementsServe as a key point of contact for employee representatives, supporting consultation, communication, and social dialogue processes in compliance with Romanian labor legislationCoordinate updates and compliance reviews of Internal Regulations, ensuring alignment with Romanian labor legislation and organizational requirementsAct as a key contributor during Labor Inspectorate (ITM) inspections, preparing documentation, coordinating responses, and supporting corrective action plans when requiredProvide guidance and support to stakeholders on employment, employee relations, and compliance mattersSupport employee relations cases, including investigations, disciplinary actions, and conflict resolutionCollaborate with internal and external legal counsel on labor law matters, employment disputes, investigations, labor inspections, regulatory auditsPrepare documentation and reports required for audits, inspections, and regulatory reviewsWe believe that collaboration leads to the best ideas, and we rely heavily on team interaction.
