NexDev is hiring multiple Senior Penetration Testers for a high-visibility, CIO-backed AI security programme with one of our flagship global clients.

This is not a standard pen testing seat. We're building a brand-new specialist squad sitting at the intersection of offensive security and applied AI — testers who already use LLMs as part of how they hunt bugs, not people who'll learn on the job.

About the role

You'll combine traditional penetration testing with AI-driven techniques to identify and remediate vulnerabilities across a critical enterprise programme. Day to day, you will:

• Perform end-to-end manual penetration testing across applications and systems
• Use LLMs for vulnerability research, source code review, and bug hunting
• Validate AI-generated findings manually — separating signal from noise
• Translate technical findings into actionable insights for engineering teams
• Act as the validation and feedback layer for teams building AI security tooling
• Lead your own workstream within an agile, iterative delivery model

What we're looking for (must-haves)

• Strong hands-on manual penetration testing experience (this is non-negotiable — pure security engineers without pen testing won't be a fit)
• Demonstrable experience using AI / LLMs in a security context — even early-stage experimentation counts, but you must have something real to talk about
• Solid grounding in vulnerability research, pen testing tools, methodologies, and processes
• Ability to validate AI outputs critically and communicate findings clearly across teams

Nice to have

• Experience building or automating AI-driven testing workflows
• Bug bounty or independent security research background
• Advanced LLM experimentation in offensive security contexts
