About the Role


You will operate as a senior extension me across multiple high-growth clients (SaaS, e-commerce, mobile apps, fintech, local services). Your job is to ensure that everything promised gets executed, implemented correctly, tracked properly, and delivered on time. You will oversee performance marketing operations end-to-end, catch issues before they become problems, and be the person who knows every detail of what is happening inside each account.


This is a role for someone who is senior, analytical, extremely organised, and capable of managing both strategy and execution. You will work across Meta Ads, Google Ads, Apple Search Ads, YouTube, display networks, and occasionally new acquisition channels.


This is not a specialist execution-only role. It’s a hybrid of strategist, performance manager, analyst, and project controller who ensures that my vision is implemented flawlessly.


Part-time contract: 10–20 hours/week, with flexibility.

Core Responsibilities


1. Performance Marketing Execution and Oversight

  • Build, manage, and optimise campaigns across Meta, Google, YouTube, ASA, and other paid channels.
  • Translate growth objectives into implementation-ready media plans, channel strategies, and tactical steps.
  • Create testing frameworks for audiences, creatives, landing pages, and funnel steps.
  • Suggest and execute proactive experiments based on data, market trends, and client-specific insights.

ality Assurance and Implementation Tracking

  • Own all tracking, measurement, and attribution logic across clients.
  • Review, audit, and validate technical setups including GA4, GTM containers, dataLayers, pixels, events, CAPI, UTM structures, and MMP integrations.
  • Ensure all tasks, campaigns, technical setups, and deliverables are implemented correctly and on schedule.
  • QA tasks performed by agencies, freelancers, developers, and client teams (UTMs, pixels, events, budgets, bidding strategies, creative setups, LP changes, etc).
  • Monitor deadlines and flag when something is delayed, broken, or off-spec.
  • Validate complex tracking setups including GA4, conversion APIs, MMPs, pixels, offline conversions, and event mapping.


3. Reporting, Analytics, and Insights

  • Build and maintain high-quality performance reports for internal and client use (Google Sheets, Looker Studio, Excel).
  • Identify trends, inefficiencies, wasted spend, and scaling opportunities.
  • Create weekly summaries, monthly deep dives, and actionable insights without needing handholding.
  • Calculate CAC, LTV, MER, BE ROAS, retention curves, cohort views, etc when needed.


4. Media Planning and Budget Management

  • Build structured budget allocations, forecasting models, and scenario analysis.
  • Create clear media plans for each client with timelines, expected outcomes, pacing guidance, and testing calendars.
  • Track daily/weekly budget pacing and ensure campaigns spend efficiently.


5. Creative Ideation and Strategy

  • Propose new angles, hooks, ad formats, and creative briefs using a data-driven approach.
  • Review creative performance and recommend what to scale, cut, or iterate.
  • Maintain an organised library of winning assets and new concept ideas.

6. Comunication and Collaboration

  • Work directly with me, acting as a trusted operator who owns tasks end-to-end.
  • Communicate proactively when something is unclear, blocked, or requires escalation.
  • Prepare digestible updates for clients when needed.
  • Collaborate with agencies, designers, developers, and tracking engineers to ensure perfect execution.

Required Skills and Experience


Performance Marketing Expertise

  • 6+ years hands-on experience managing campaigns across Meta Ads and Google Ads and other paid channels.
  • Strong understanding of bidding strategies, account structures, creative testing, measurement, attribution, and scaling methodologies.
  • Experience with Apple Search Ads and app campaigns is a plus


Analytics and Technical Capabilities

  • Expert-level understanding of tracking architecture: GA4, GTM, pixels, dataLayer, server-side tracking, conversion APIs
  • Hands-on experience implementing, debugging, and validating events across web and app environments.
  • Exceptional proficiency in Excel/Google Sheets including pivot tables, advanced formulas, and modelling.
  • Strong grasp of GA4, event tracking, conversion APIs, pixels, MMPs, UTMs, and troubleshooting.
  • Ability to build reporting dashboards, automate data flows, and verify data accuracy.


Organisational and QA Skills

  • Highly detail-oriented with zero tolerance for sloppy work or missing data.
  • Ability to track dozens of moving parts across multiple clients.
  • Experience in project coordination, timeline enforcement, and implementation QA.


Strategic Thinking

  • Ability to translate business goals into channel strategies, test roadmaps, and actionable plans.
  • Comfortable generating creative concepts, angles, and new growth ideas.
  • Capable of advising on funnels, landing pages, acquisition strategies, and messaging.


Communication

  • Native-level English proficiency (spoken and written).
  • Able to communicate concisely, clearly, and proactively with senior stakeholders.
