About The Team And The Role
We're seeking a Senior Product Designer to join our Public Platform team, working on public-facing data websites. In this role, you'll provide professional input on complex assignments and projects while leveraging AI as a strategic design partner - using tools to accelerate iteration and exploration while applying human judgment to guide creative direction and ensure outputs align with user needs and business objectives.
What You'll Do

• Work autonomously on complex design challenges.
• Analyse and resolve complex design problems through in-depth evaluation of multiple variables.
• Develop and implement creative and effective design solutions that align with company objectives.
• Exercise sound judgment in evaluating, selecting, and adapting both standard and complex design techniques.
• Utilise in-depth professional knowledge to develop design models and procedures while monitoring industry trends.
• Direct the application of existing design principles and contribute to new policy development.
• Adapt communication style and use persuasion effectively when delivering messages to different stakeholders.
• Integrate AI capabilities thoughtfully into your design process, using automation to enhance efficiency while maintaining creative ownership and ensuring all solutions are grounded in user empathy and strategic insight.
  

Required Competencies

• Advanced wide-ranging experience in product design.
• Strong understanding of the interrelationships between different disciplines.
• Ability to determine and implement methods and procedures for new assignments.
• Excellent problem-solving skills with the ability to evaluate complex situations.
• Strong communication and presentation skills for conveying design decisions.
• Demonstrated ability to manage operational initiatives to achieve tactical goals
• Track record of delivering measurable results within own discipline.
• Proven ability to integrate AI tools into design workflows while maintaining strategic oversight and decision authority.
