As the Senior Proposal Engineer, you will be responsible for the end-to-end delivery of Technical & Commercial Project Proposals to our customers in Europe for the Power and Renewables industry within the automation projects business portfolio and support Emerson sales teams in pursuing new business opportunities.

This role requires the proposal delivery management of a wide variety of projects ranging from small-size to large and/or complex ones, assuming ownership of the full-scope, or sub-scope, when working under the leadership of Proposal Lead / Manager, including sales & operations partners' coordination and direct customer contact.

In This Role, Your Responsibilities Will Be:

• Ensuring understanding, managing and satisfying each requirement or expectation from customers or company's partners through remote communication or site visits

• Taking full ownership of the delivery of assigned large-scale and/or complex technical and commercial project proposals within the Emerson Systems & Software projects portfolio, in collaboration with a team of Project Proposal Engineers, following standard processes.

• Applying technical expertise for the conceptual design development of Emerson solution, fulfilling customers' requirements; providing task / sub-scope allocation and control for other team members working on proposal;

• Ensuring the innovative and cost-effective solutions are proposed;

• Proactively applying methodologies, resources and techniques for minimizing the proposal preparation effort, whilst maintaining the requisite schedule and quality;

• Ensuring stakeholders and proposal team members are proactively informed on the status or any challenges;

• Acting as Project Proposal Senior Engineer delivering small and medium size project proposals;

• Facilitating creation of an inclusive and supportive environment for all personnel within the project proposal team to ensure its high performance on the proposal preparation;

• Acquiring, maintaining, and actively sharing knowledge and experience with the team and the more comprehensive organization;

For This Role, You Will Need:

• Bachelor's degree, preferably in Engineering field

• Proficiency in English (written and verbal)

• Experience in process automation field for various industries

• Good technical understanding of process automation, DCS (Distributed Control System) and/or PLC (Programmable Logic Controller) systems, computer infrastructure and network architecture

• Knowledge of MS Office (Word, Excel, Powerpoint)

Preferred Qualifications that Set You Apart:

• Experience in commercial and sales support activities

• Project management or coordination skills
