#VOIS #BeUnrivalled #CreateTheFutureAbout this Role We are seeking an EAP Python Developer to contribute to Vodafone's digital transformation by designing and building automation solutions using modern Python technologies. This role will work within the European Automation Platform (EAP) to develop internal modules, APIs, and tools that enhance operational efficiency. The individual will operate in an agile environment, shaping automation practices and collaborating closely with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality software.What you'll do

• Shape and maintain the automation development environment, including Python libraries, virtual machines, and databases.
• Automate recurring operational tasks by applying a continuous development, integration, testing, and deployment approach.
• Contribute to planning, design, and technical discussions related to automation solutions.
• Keep up to date with emerging technologies and industry trends.
• Share expertise, best practices, and coding standards with the team and the wider citizen developer community.

Who you are

• More than 2 years' experience in Python software development, including work with frameworks such as FastAPI.
• Skilled in using version control systems, particularly Git.
• Basic understanding of Kubernetes.
• Knowledge of system integration and communication technologies such as SOAP, REST, FTP, HTTPS, SMTP, SNMP, SSH, and TCP.
• Intermediate-level experience with Linux operating systems (Ubuntu, Red Hat).
• Data science experience is a strong advantage.
• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Technology, or a related field.
• Experience in Agile methodologies and tools (e.g., ADO).Proficiency in developing CI/CD pipelines and working with Linux environments.
• Fluent in English.
