OCS (Online Collective Services) is a key platform within Banqup, a hosted toolkit that supports billers and their service providers, to track and collect payables through web, mobile, or any other online channel. OCS is developed based on microservices architecture, it manages customers and payment accounts, offering different payment methods with major European schemes such as SEPA Direct Debit (SDD), and card payments.
As a QA professional on OCS, you play a key role in safeguarding system reliability. The focus is on validating customers configurations, transactions integrity, reconciliation processes and integrations with 3rd parties.
Your Responsibilities Will Include

• Create test cases and organize them into test plans;
• Prioritize and execute manual testing;
• Open bugs with all the steps to reproduce;
• Identify and prioritize tests that are suitable for automation;
• Create and execute automated tests
• Schedule deployments of released versions on different environments;
• Report test results;
• Work closely with other QA's, Product Owners, Developers and Devops to deliver qualitative web applications.
  

What you bring:

• Strong programming fundamentals (e.g., Java, JavaScript, Python,TypeScript or similar)
• Solid understanding of Object-Oriented Programming (OOP) principles
• Knowledge of basic data structures and algorithms
• Understanding of software development lifecycle (SDLC) and testing fundamentals
• Familiarity with version control systems (e.g., Git)
• Basic knowledge of web technologies (HTML, CSS, APIs, client-server architecture)
• Experience with a test framework like TestNG/JUnit;
• Knowledge of API testing using API testing tools Postman/swagger;
• Knowledge of Build integration tools - Jenkins, and Docker will be an advantage;
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• High attention to detail and a passion for quality
• Good communication skills and ability to work in a team environment
• Eagerness to learn, grow, and take ownership
  

We would be happy to see experience with:

• Security and usability testing;
• Databases: SQL, NoSQL flavors;
• Jenkins configuration;
• Google Cloud logging
• Exposure to automated testing tools or frameworks
• Performance testing using K6;
