We are looking for a skilled and proactive QA Automation Engineer with at least 4 years of QA experience to join our agile, fast-paced team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring the quality and reliability of our software solutions by building, running, and improving automated test scripts while also conducting manual testing where needed. Prior experience in the security industry is a plus and will provide an added advantage in understanding the unique requirements of our solutions.
Responsibilities
Design, develop, and execute automated test scripts using appropriate automation tools to ensure product functionality and performance.
Perform manual testing to validate new features and changes when automation is not feasible and work towards converting these manual tests to automated scripts.
Collaborate with the Scrum team to define and maintain test strategies, scenarios, and scripts that align with the team’s objectives and deliverables.
Identify and report defects clearly, ensuring any issues are tracked, resolved, and verified.
Think critically and creatively to identify testing areas for improvement and provide innovative solutions.
Actively contribute to team discussions and quality initiatives to foster a collaborative, high-performing QA culture.
Requirements
4+ years of experiencein QA, with a focus on both manual and automated testing.
Experience with automation tools (e.g., Selenium, Cypress, JUnit, etc.) and the ability to write, execute, and maintain automated test cases.
Knowledge of Agile methodologies, including working within a Scrum team structure.
Experience with manual testing and a strong ability to design effective manual test scenarios.
Prior experience in the security industry is advantageous.Strong problem-solving skills, initiative, and analytical thinking to drive quality improvements.
Ability to work independently and have a proactive attitude.
A collaborative, team-oriented mindset with excellent communication skills.
Familiarity with API testing frameworks and tools.
Experience with BDD practices and supporting tools is a plus.
Exposure to cloud platforms.
Proficiency in one or more programming languages; experience with JavaScript/TypeScript is a plus.
Hands-on experience with Git and common version control practices.
