The projects are technically challenging in an environment that is very engaging.We are looking for a Senior QA Automation Engineer with strong expertise in Python to design, develop, and maintain automated test frameworks for backend systems and services running under Linux, AWS, and Windows, with capabilities to collaborate in a team-focused environment and coordinate work with BA, Dev, Operational, and cross-functional application teams.ResponsibilitiesDesign, develop, and maintain automated test frameworks and scripts using PythonCreate detailed test plans, test cases, and coordinate testing activitiesDevelop and execute automation scripts for API, integration, and regression testingIdentify, record, document, and track bugs; perform regression testing when resolvedImplement and maintain CI/CD pipeline integrations for automated test executionLiaise with internal teams to identify system requirements and resolve quality issuesTrack quality assurance metrics and stay up-to-date with new testing tools and strategiesKnowledge of tools such as Git, Jira, TestRail, ConfluenceSkillsMust haveStrong Python development skills for test automation5+ years of relevant experience in software testinghands-on experience designing and implementing automated test frameworks (e.g. pytest, Robot Framework, TestNG, Selenium)Experience in API automation testing (REST/SOAP)A good Linux backgroundExperience with CI/CD tools (Jenkins, GitLab CI, or similar)Thorough understanding of the software development lifecyclePractical expertise in both manual and automated testing methodologies and toolsNice to haveFamiliarity with banking, financial concepts, financial data, and market dataKnowledge of protocols and any experience with client/server implementations/API or testing message sequences over socket/websocket connections Show more Show less
