Currently looking for a Senior QA Engineer to join our team!

Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled QA Automation Engineer to lead and execute testing activities within the uFlow Automation project. The role is responsible for defining testing strategies, developing automation frameworks, and ensuring high-quality delivery of applications within an Agile environment.

The ideal candidate will have strong experience in test automation, API testing, performance testing, and CI/CD practices, along with the ability to collaborate across multiple stakeholders to drive quality standards across the organization.

Key Responsibilities

• Own and drive all testing activities for the uFlow Automation project
• Define and implement test strategies, test concepts, and QA frameworks
• Design, develop, and maintain automated test frameworks (Selenium + Java preferred)
• Create and execute test cases, test plans, test scripts, and test data based on business requirements
• Perform system integration testing (SIT) and user acceptance testing (UAT)
• Conduct API testing and validate integrations using tools such as Postman or SoapUI
• Execute performance and load testing (e.g., JMeter)
• Identify, log, and track defects; provide detailed reporting and metrics (KPIs)
• Collaborate with business stakeholders, project managers, product owners, developers, and DevOps teams
• Maintain and update QA documentation and test artifacts
• Ensure continuous improvement of QA processes, tools, and methodologies

Required Skills & Experience

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science or related field
• Strong understanding of Agile methodologies (Scrum, Kanban)
• Experience with Java and object-oriented programming (OOP)
• Hands-on experience with test automation frameworks (Selenium + Java preferred)
• Experience with BDD (Behavior-Driven Development)
• Strong API testing experience (Postman, SoapUI)
• Experience with performance/load testing tools (JMeter)
• Proficiency with test management and defect tracking tools (Jira, ALM, TestRail, or similar)
• Good knowledge of databases and SQL
• Understanding of CI/CD pipelines and DevOps tools (Jenkins, TeamCity, Docker, Kubernetes, OpenShift)
• Basic understanding of retail banking and operational processes

Nice to Have

• German language skills
• Experience with Camunda BPM
• Exposure to enterprise-scale banking systems
