This role requires a strong headhunting mindset and expertise in proactive sourcing, talent mapping, and executive-level candidate engagement across the global mining and mining technology ecosystem.
You will partner closely with business leaders and HR to identify and attract high-impact talent across commercial, technical, and operational functions. The role will involve managing complex international searches while also supporting broader hiring needs across the organization.
Key Responsibilities
Strategic Talent Acquisition
Lead end-to-end recruitment processes for key roles across APAC and EMEA.
Partner with senior leaders and hiring managers to understand business priorities and translate them into effective hiring strategies.
Manage complex and confidential recruitment processes across multiple regions.
Headhunting & Talent Mapping
Proactively identify and engage passive candidates through research, networking, and targeted outreach.
Conduct market mapping and competitor analysis within the global mining and mining technology sectors.
Build and maintain pipelines of high-caliber talent across critical functions.
Executive Stakeholder Partnership
Act as a trusted advisor to senior leaders and HR Business Partners on hiring strategy and talent availability.
Provide insights on talent markets, compensation benchmarks, and competitor activity.
Support leaders in making well-informed hiring decisions.
Global Recruitment Delivery
Manage searches across a variety of functions including:
Commercial and business development
Engineering and technical roles
Project delivery and operations
Digital and technology solutions
Ensure a high-quality candidate and hiring manager experience throughout the recruitment lifecycle.
Talent Pipeline Development
Build long-term talent pipelines in key markets across EMEA, Australia, Asia, Middle East, and Africa.
Strengthen the employer brand within the global mining talent market.
Recruitment Excellence
Use data and recruitment insights to continuously improve hiring outcomes.
Maintain strong process discipline and compliance with global hiring standards.
Qualifications Required
8+ years of recruitment experience, including strong direct sourcing and headhunting.
Demonstrated experience managing complex and senior-level recruitment processes.
Experience recruiting across international markets, ideally across EMEA and APAC.
Strong capability in talent mapping, competitive intelligence, and proactive sourcing.
Excellent stakeholder management and influencing skills.
Preferred
Experience recruiting in mining, engineering, industrial technology, or heavy equipment sectors.
Background in executive search or agency
Experience working in global matrix organizations.
