We employ 25,000 people globally, more than half located in Asia Pacific.Role Summary:This position is for a Senior Software Engineer who will be accountable for the design and development of Real-Time SDK features used by customers to contribute or consume real-time financial content. Experience with deployment of surrounding server-side infrastructure with expertise in infrastructure as code, deployment automation, management is beneficial for this role.You will work with local/remote development team(s) to define software requirements, do technical design and implement software solutions. Your overall goal will be to develop high-quality software that is aligned with user needs and business goals. You should have excellent organization and problem-solving skills. If you have hands-on experience in software development and agile methodologies, we’d like to meet you.What You’ll Be Doing:Develop high-quality software and associated documentation from specified requirementsProducing, testing and debugging code based on design of Real-Time library features in C# (.NET SDK)Fixing issues raised by customersProvide time & complexity estimates for given software feature implementationBuild unit tests for your code for best coverage and review QA test plans which exercise the changesIdentify, prioritize and complete tasks in a timely mannerDevelop and maintain tools and applications by producing clean, efficient code that follows open sourcing standardsAutomate tasks through appropriate tools and scriptingReview and debug codePerform validation and verification testingCollaborate with internal teams and vendors to fix and improve productsCollaborate with support to isolate issues in product and make fixesDocument development phases and monitor systemsEnsure software is up to date with the latest technologies and standardsDeploy containerized products into Azure or AWS or other cloud environmentWhat You’ll Bring:Must haveProven experience as a Senior Software Engineer with extensive experience in software development.Strong knowledge of selected programming languages: C#Familiarity with large scale deployments: Kubernetes, Docker, TerraformExperience with low level networking communicationExperience with socket programming Experience in working with TCP/IP and UDP multicast network protocolsKnowledge of GitLab or GitHub or other source control systemKnowledge of JiraKnowledge of Agile methodologyAnalytical mind with problem-solving aptitudeBachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering or an equivalent.
