YOUR ROLE
As a Senior Software Engineer with Capgemini, you will lead the development & optimization of complex software solutions, apply advanced engineering practices and exercise sound judgment across the full development lifecycle. You will work autonomously, guide other developers, and contribute to high‑quality technical delivery in a collaborative, fast‑paced environment.
In this role you will:
•
Develop, configure, maintain, and document software components based on design specifications and evolving user requirements.
•
Build and integrate technological and interoperability components, ensuring smooth interaction with other applications and reusable system modules.
•
Design unit test specifications, execute automated and manual tests, and create test scripts to support development and integration activities.
•
Participate in and lead code reviews to uphold best practices, improve code quality and security, and promote team knowledge sharing.
•
Guide and mentor junior developers, fostering skill development and ensuring technical consistency across the team.
•
Contribute to deployment, configuration, and technical documentation (installation guides, operational manuals, development artefacts) throughout the delivery lifecycle.

Responsibilities

YOUR PROFILE
•
Ability to understand and apply IT design models and specifications, serving as a reference point for the development team.
•
Deep knowledge of programming languages, frameworks, and tools relevant to the project, including web, multi‑tier, and mobile application development. Experience in Cloud is considered an asset.
•
Strong understanding of web service technologies and the ability to adapt to evolving development practices and emerging technologies.
•
Experience working with modelling or CASE tools, and a solid foundation in modern development frameworks and architectures.
•
Excellent communication skills and the ability to work effectively in international and multicultural environments.
•
Minimum 10 years of IT experience, including at least 5 years as a software/application developer and 5 years working with Java programming language.
•
Excellent communication skills in English and French, both written and spoken.
