We are looking for a Senior Solution Consultant to join our team at fme Romania. In this role, you will be directly involved in delivering data and content migration projects, implementing data governance and data quality solutions, and supporting our clients in their digital transformation journey. You'll collaborate closely with both our customers and the fme delivery team to ensure successful outcomes.

What you will do:

• Oversee the delivery of data and content migration projects, data governance, and data quality solutions;
• Collaborate with clients and the fme delivery team on data-related initiatives to ensure project success;
• Review existing migration tools and recommend improvements to enhance performance;
• Develop and implement action plans to provide timely technical solutions for critical customer needs;
• Stay current with new testing tools and strategies;
• Act as a Subject Matter Expert (SME) for content migration solutions, supporting multiple projects simultaneously;
• Lead migration projects, identify risks or issues early, and escalate them when needed
  

Requirements
Technical Skills:

• Proven experience with databases such as Oracle, Microsoft SQL Server, or PostgreSQL;
• Hands-on experience in document/data migration with Enterprise Content Management Systems (e.g. SharePoint, OpenText Documentum, Box);
• Familiarity with data migration tools (ETL) and ability to execute complex migration processes;
• Strong troubleshooting, problem-solving, and analytical skills;
• Experience working with validated systems, including producing quality documentation, installation procedures, and test cases;
• Ability to collaborate with customers and teams across different geographical locations;
• Self-driven mindset, with flexibility to adapt to fast-paced and ambiguous environments while remaining solution-focused.
  

Language:

• Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English;
• German is a plus.
  

Preferred qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree or higher in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field;
• Experience migrating from and to Documentum content management systems to Veeva;
• Knowledge of networking (TCP/IP, Internet protocols, load balancing, network configuration);
• Good understanding of Java or other object-oriented programming languages;
• Experience with Application Servers (WebLogic, WebSphere, JBoss, Tomcat)
