For one of customers, we are hiring a Senior System Administrator that will be focused on core Infrastructure & System Administration.

The role is remote, with the requirement for availability to travel to Milan (Italy) on a monthly basis.

Technical Stack: Windows Server 2016/2019/2022+, Active Directory (AD DS), PKI/CA, DFS/DFSR, PowerShell, DNS, and DHCP.

Key responsibilities:

• Design and maintain complex Active Directory structures, including multi-domain and multi-forest environments.
• Configure AD Sites and Services to optimize replication traffic and authentication across geographically dispersed locations.
• Manage the full lifecycle of digital certificates—from issuance and renewal to revocation—ensuring secure communication across the enterprise.
• Design and troubleshoot Distributed File System (DFS) Namespaces and Replication (DFSR) to provide high-available, unified access to data.
• Manage critical infrastructure services including DNS (internal and external) and DHCP scopes.

Requirements:

• Advanced knowledge of Active Directory, including: Domain Services (AD DS), Group Policy design and management, Organizational Unit (OU) structure and delegation, Active Directory Sites & Services.

• Ability to deploy and manage Certificate Authorities (CA), including certificate issuance, renewal, revocation, and lifecycle management.

• Solid understanding of authentication protocols such as Kerberos and NTLM.

• Advanced proficiency in PowerShell for administration and automation.

• Ability to develop scripts for task automation, reporting, and system management.

• Strong experience managing Windows file services.

• In-depth knowledge of Distributed File System (DFS), including: designing and maintaining DFS Namespace, configuring and troubleshooting DFS Replication (DFSR)

• Experience managing file shares, NTFS permissions, and access control

• Experience administering core infrastructure services such as DNS and DHCP

• Solid understanding of networking fundamentals, including TCP/IP, name resolution, and routing concepts
