We are looking for a Test Automation Engineer to join our client and contribute to building reliable, high-quality software solutions. The role focuses on designing, maintaining, and improving automated testing processes across web applications and APIs.

Key responsibilities:

• Define and support test automation approaches, including framework improvements, script maintenance, and modularization initiatives.

• Create functional test scenarios and test cases based on business requirements, ensuring proper coverage and traceability.

• Integrate automated tests into CI/CD workflows to enable faster feedback and early defect detection.

• Plan and execute automated test runs following established testing practices.

• Identify, analyze, and document defects using appropriate tracking tools.

• Review automation execution results, troubleshoot failures, and optimize test scripts.

• Prepare and maintain testing documentation, including test plans, test cases, and automation scripts.

• Collaborate on defining test environments and managing test data requirements.

• Support test reporting activities and contribute to risk assessment processes.

What we are looking for:

• Previous experience with Web UI and API automation using technologies such as Java, Selenium, Maven, Git, and Rest Assured.

• Experience working with API testing tools (Postman, SoapUI, or similar).

• Good understanding of testing processes and troubleshooting throughout the software development lifecycle.

• Strong organizational skills and ability to manage priorities effectively.

• Good communication skills, with the ability to collaborate with business teams, developers, and Product Owners.

• Ability to contribute to automation strategies and testing approaches.

• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

• Knowledge of Agile methodologies.

• Very good English communication skills.

Nice to have:

• Previous experience working on banking or financial projects.

• ISTQB certification.

• Experience with CI/CD pipelines.
