This role is designed for a highly creative editor who thrives in producing premium, narrative-driven video content for digital audiences. You will shape long-form YouTube videos, trailers, and short-form edits that engage viewers and strengthen audience retention. Working remotely, you will collaborate closely with a fast-moving creative team using advanced remote production systems. The environment is highly collaborative, with a strong emphasis on storytelling quality, pacing, and brand consistency. You will have the opportunity to influence editorial direction while refining a distinctive visual and narrative style. This position is ideal for an editor who combines technical mastery with strong creative instincts and understands what drives success on YouTube.
Accountabilities

• Edit long-form YouTube videos with a strong focus on pacing, structure, and audience retention, ensuring content remains engaging throughout.
• Develop and refine narrative flow, including voiceover structure, storytelling arcs, and emotional impact.
• Create compelling trailers and short-form content derived from long-form videos for multi-platform distribution.
• Collaborate closely with the creative and production team to maintain a consistent and elevated editorial style.
• Deliver high-quality edits within deadlines while managing tasks, timelines, and project organization effectively.
• Contribute creative ideas to enhance storytelling while aligning with an established brand direction.
  

Requirements

• Advanced proficiency in DaVinci Resolve as the primary editing software.
• Experience working in remote, server-based environments and using tools such as Parsec with Apple Studio systems.
• Strong technical setup, including a stable and high-speed internet connection for seamless remote workflows.
• Proven storytelling ability with a strong sense of narrative structure, pacing, and emotional engagement.
• Good understanding of YouTube content dynamics, audience retention strategies, and platform best practices.
• Strong creative instincts with the ability to contribute ideas while adhering to a defined editorial style.
• Excellent organizational skills and ability to manage multiple deadlines in a remote production environment.
