• Greet guests warmly and professionally upon arrival
• Present menus, explain specials, and make recommendations
• Take accurate food and beverage orders
• Ensure timely service and attend to guests’ needs during the meal
• Handle guest complaints or requests promptly and courteously
• Serve food and beverages according to JW Marriott standards
• Clear tables efficiently between courses and after dining
• Properly set up and reset tables for new guests
• Coordinate with kitchen and bar staff for smooth service flow
• Maintain up-to-date knowledge of menu items, ingredients, and preparation methods
• Be familiar with wine pairings, cocktails, and special promotions
• Accommodate dietary restrictions and explain alternative options
• Ensure the dining area, service stations, and utensils are spotless
• Follow hygiene and sanitation protocols strictly
• Maintain personal grooming and uniform standards that align with JW Marriott brand expectations
• Work closely with colleagues, supervisors, and kitchen staff
• Assist teammates during busy periods
• Participate in pre-shift briefings and training sessions
