We are seeking a proactive Site Engineer with a strong background in civil engineering and a passion for underground structures—such as tunnels, shafts, and metro/station works. The ideal candidate will support the planning, execution, and supervision of site activities, ensuring safe, on-time, and on-budget project delivery. Fluent English communication is a must, as is a collaborative mindset.

Key Responsibilities:

• Site Supervision & Execution
• Oversee day-to-day construction activities, ensuring work aligns with technical drawings and project specifications.
• Coordinate closely with contractors, labor teams, and specialized crews on underground works (e.g., TBM operations, cut-and-cover, cross passages).
• Conduct regular site inspections and surveys to monitor progress, quality, safety, and compliance.
• Technical Oversight
• Interpret and check designs, blueprints, and technical drawings for accuracy .
• Apply engineering judgment to resolve site challenges such as alignment deviations, overbreak control, or unexpected ground conditions.
• Utilize surveying tools (e.g., total stations, digital levels, GNSS) to support layout and monitoring.
• Documentation & Reporting
• Prepare detailed daily progress reports, measurements, site logs, and technical documentation.
• Support financial control via coordination with quantity surveyors for progress-based billing and material reconciliation.
• Stakeholder Coordination
• Liaise effectively with designers, project managers, subcontractors, and clients to ensure seamless information flow and problem resolution.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering (or closely related discipline: geotechnical, structural, or underground/tunneling engineering).
• 2–6 years of hands-on experience in civil/site engineering. Special preference for candidates who have worked on underground structures (tunnels, stations, shafts).
• Drawing interpretation (CAD, technical plans)
• Familiarity with construction methodologies for underground works (e.g., TBM, cut-and-cover)
• Quality control and H&S protocols
• Excellent written and verbal communication in English for coordination and reporting.
• Strong problem-solving, attention to detail, organization, and teamwork

• Additional (Optional/Desirable):
• Capability to thrive under high-pressure environments, with adaptability to changing conditions.
• Experience in Tunnels
