We are looking for an experienced Site Manager (Earthworks) to oversee, coordinate, and control earthwork operations on construction sites. The role ensures adherence to project specifications, quality standards, HSE regulations, timelines, and budgets.

🔧 Key Responsibilities

• Coordinate and supervise all earthworks activities: excavation, leveling, compaction, and backfilling.
• Ensure work quality in accordance with technical documentation, standards, and project requirements.
• Plan and manage resources (materials, equipment, machinery, workforce).
• Monitor execution schedules and budget compliance.
• Prepare daily and weekly progress reports.
• Collaborate with designers, inspectors, subcontractors, and clients.
• Ensure implementation and enforcement of all HSE regulations on-site.
• Participate in inspections and manage non-conformities.

🦺 Health & Safety Responsibilities

• Comply with all occupational health, safety, labor protection, and sanitary regulations.
• Respect internal company procedures and confidentiality requirements.
• Follow HSE/SSM legislation and internal safety rules.
• Strictly avoid alcohol consumption before or during working hours.
• Cooperate with HSE officers to prevent accidents and occupational illnesses.
• Exercise the right to refuse work that may endanger personal or workplace safety.
• Ensure confidentiality of company documentation and information.

🛠 Equipment & Materials Responsibility

• Proper use and maintenance of company-issued tools and equipment.
• Ensure correct use of personal protective equipment, following all applicable regulations.

🎓 Qualifications & Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering – Railways, Roads & Bridges (or equivalent).
• Proven experience in earthworks coordination and execution.
• Good command of technical software (AutoCAD, MS Project).
• Strong organizational, planning, and team coordination skills.
• Good knowledge of the Romanian language, English is a plus
• Availability for travel and on-site extended working hours.
• Valid Category B driving license.
