Objectives

• To provide expert-level technical support and troubleshooting services in the field of smart metering.
• To lead and support the implementation and fine-tuning of new energy management projects.
• To contribute to innovation and excellence in energy distribution and smart grid technologies.
• To strengthen client operations through effective training and collaboration.

What you would do & responsibilities

• Deliver local and remote technical support for the customers of our client, focusing on smart metering troubleshooting.
• Conduct on-site and remote operations to ensure optimal system performance.
• Provide first and second-level support, including specialized technical assistance.
• Train client personnel in technical tasks, such as device usage and remote system management.
• Assist in the installation, commissioning, and performance optimization of new projects and contracts.
• Ensure achievement of key performance indicators during critical project phases.

Requirements

Technical Expertise:

• Strong understanding of distribution network systems and grid operations.
• Proficient in PLC communication protocols (e.g., Meters & More, G3-PLC, PRIME, DLMS).
• Familiarity with technical standards and regulations for smart meter devices.

Telecommunications Knowledge:

• Solid knowledge of TLC networks and protocols (e.g., 3G, 4G, 5G, TCP/IP).

Automation & Programming:

• Experience with automation processes and relevant programming skills.
• Interest and experience in hardware devices and communication protocols.

Data Management:

• Advanced skills in handling and analyzing large datasets beyond Excel and Access.

Problem-Solving:

• Demonstrated success in troubleshooting complex issues in medium to high-complexity projects.

Education and Experience:

• Master’s degree in Engineering (preferred fields: Electrical, Electronics, Telecommunications).
• Minimum of 2 years’ experience in smart metering and troubleshooting.

Language Skills:

• Proficient in English (minimum B2 level).
