We're now looking for a Social Media Manager who wants to build something meaningful from the ground up.


The role

This is not a "post three times a week and write captions" job — but it's also not a one-person army situation.

You'll have the full support of the marketing team, direct access to leadership, and a toolkit that includes the best AI tools available (for content ideation, copywriting, video editing, analytics, and more). The expectation isn't that you do everything manually — it's that you think strategically, execute consistently, and use every resource available to get results.

You'll own social media end-to-end: strategy, content, community, influencer partnerships, and performance. Full creative latitude — and full accountability for results.


Responsibilities

Strategy, Planning & Analytics

  • Build and implement a social media strategy across all company accounts (Facebook, Instagram, TikTok, LinkedIn, Reddit) and keep it updated as platforms evolve
  • Manage editorial calendars aligned with marketing campaigns and key financial market moments
  • Define the strategy for 123Credit's existing Facebook Group communities, turning them into active lead generation channels
  • Monitor competitors, platform algorithm changes, and industry trends to keep the strategy sharp
  • Track performance across all channels, deliver periodic reports, and adjust strategy based on data — not instinct

Content Creation

  • Produce video and static content for all platforms — from filming and editing to graphics and visual creatives
  • Actively experiment with advanced content techniques: the Hormozi multiplication method (one core video → multiple variants with different hooks and angles), strong-hook virality mechanics, and systematic A/B testing of what converts best
  • Maintain 123Credit's visual identity and tone of voice consistently across every channel

Community, Influencers & Brand Voice

  • Manage community interactions across all channels with a dual focus: generating leads and keeping the audience genuinely engaged
  • Track social conversations about 123Credit, competitors, and the broader lending space in Romania
  • Identify, negotiate, and manage influencer collaborations — primary goal is lead generation, secondary is visibility


What We're Looking For

You don't need to be a specialist in every single area — but you need to be genuinely strong in most of them and curious enough to grow in the rest.

  • Content production — comfortable filming and editing video (Reels, TikToks), and creating static visuals (Canva, Adobe, Figma or similar)
  • Social media strategy — deep understanding of how algorithms, formats, and audience behavior work on each platform today, not two years ago
  • Copywriting — writing hooks that stop the scroll, captions that drive action, and CTAs that convert; adapted to each platform's native language
  • Data literacy — reading platform analytics and GA4 to make decisions, not just compile reports
  • Experimentalist mindset — you test hypotheses, document what works, and iterate fast; you don't execute templates on autopilot
  • Communication — clear and effective both externally (community, influencers) and internally (marketing team, leadership)


One Non-Negotiable

Genuine curiosity about personal finance. You don't need to be a financial advisor — but you need to want to understand how mortgages work, what APR means, and why someone would refinance. Without this, your content will always be surface-level. In a category where trust drives conversions, that's not enough.


AI-First Approach

We're an AI-savvy team and we expect this role to be too. We actively encourage the use of AI tools across the entire workflow — content ideation, scriptwriting, hook generation, image creation, video editing assistance, competitor research, and performance analysis. Working smart is just as valued as working hard, and we'll make sure you have access to the tools that make that possible.
