YOUR ROLE WILL BE TO:

o     Assess and ensure the overall health of core systems;

Provide a comprehensive evaluation of system architecture, including software design, technology stack, database structures, scalability, performance, data integrity, and security;

o     Drive long-term architectural strategy and future-proofing;

Define and evolve architectural roadmaps ensuring systems are resilient, extensible, and aligned with business growth, cloud-native and AI-enabled paradigms;

o     Enable agility in delivery;

Design architectures and engineering practices that support rapid feature delivery, enabling teams to release functionality outside traditional release cycles (e.g., modular systems, APIs, event-driven patterns, feature flags);

o     Advise on system readiness for growth;

o     Offer informed, independent assessments of system capabilities to support business expansion, increased load, and evolving product needs;

o     Lead knowledge sharing and capability building;

Mentor engineering teams, promoting architectural thinking, modern engineering practices, and continuous learning, including AI-assisted development approaches;

o     Track and apply industry innovation;

Continuously evaluate emerging technologies (including AI/ML, GenAI, and automation tools), integrating relevant innovations to improve system quality, maintainability, and engineering productivity.

o     Define architectural blueprints and standards;

Produce clear architectural artifacts, design principles, and technical guidelines; validate concepts through prototypes and hands-on implementation;

o     Improve system scalability and code quality;

o     Identify complexity and scalability risks and lead remediation through refactoring, modularization, and domain-driven design practices.

WE WOULD BE DELIGHTED TO SEE THAT YOU HAVE:

Technical & Architectural Skills

o      Strong expertise in software architecture patterns (microservices, modular monolith, event-driven systems)

o      Deep understanding of distributed systems, scalability, and high-availability design

o     Experience with cloud platforms (Azure) and cloud-native architectures

o      Strong knowledge of data architecture (relational, NoSQL, streaming, data pipelines)

o    Experience in API design, integration patterns, and system interoperability

o      Understanding of security principles (authentication, authorization, data protection)

o      Familiarity with DevOps practices (CI/CD, infrastructure as code, observability)

o Strong experience with C# and .NET

o Experience maintaining or modernizing .NET 4.8 legacy applications

o Experience with MS SQL Server

o Practical exposure to frontend technologies (Angular 12+ or React)

Engineering & Quality Skills

o      Strong focus on code quality, refactoring, and technical debt management

o      Experience driving modularization and maintainability improvements

o      Ability to review and challenge designs and implementations

o      Hands-on coding ability to prototype and validate solutions

AI & Data Competencies

o      Familiarity with AI-assisted development tools (e.g., GitHub Copilot, Claude)

o      Experience integrating AI-enabled services into enterprise systems

o      Knowledge of AI data pipelines and data preparation

o      Awareness of AI governance, ethics, security, and compliance considerations

Experience

o     3+ years of experience as a Software Architect or or senior technical leadership role

o     Contributing to large distributed systems with high performance demands; 

o     5+ years of experience as a Software Engineer; 

o     Experience of working in Agile environments with distributed teams;

o     Nice to have: experience with medical applications;

o     Excellent level in English language - both spoken and written;

o     Flexible attitude, ability to perform under pressure and complying with strict deadlines;

o     Pro-active behavior, good organization and time management skills;
