Location & format: Hybrid in Bucharest / Romania.

Duration: 6–12 months, part-time paid internship.

Who can apply: Students in their final years / recent graduates in Computer Science and IT.

⚙️ Role & Responsibilities

• Software Analysis: Dive deep into codebases to investigate open-source licensing compliance and identify potential security risks and known vulnerabilities (CVEs).
• Research & Reporting: Conduct research on software components, licenses, and vulnerabilities, and document your findings in clear, concise reports.
• Team Support: Collaborate with developers, security experts, and legal teams to ensure compliance standards are met.
• Tooling & Automation:Contribute to improving internal workflows and automation for software analysis and reporting.

🔍 Skills and Qualifications

• Analytical Mindset: Ability to break down complex information and spot patterns or inconsistencies.
• Technical Foundations: Basic understanding of software development (any programming language), version control (e.g. Git), and common development tools.
• Research Proficiency: Comfortable using web searches, documentation, and code repositories to investigate components.
• Attention to Detail: Careful when reviewing documentation, code, and metadata.
• Communication Skills: Able to explain your findings clearly in English, in writing and in meetings.
• Problem-Solving Abilities: Proactive, curious, and willing to ask questions and propose solutions.

You don’t need prior experience in software compliance or auditing, we’ll teach you what you need to know.
