About the role (The Anti-Corporate Path)

Are you early in your career, highly ambitious, and already bored of standard corporate coding?

At Octavic, we build Industrial IoT (Industry 4.0) platforms that optimize production in pharma, food, and automotive factories. We are not looking for a regular 9-to-5 coder. We are looking for a Maker, a Problem Solver, and a future leader.

We are offering a fast-track path to leadership for the right person. You will start by mastering our software and hardware integrations, and as the company scales, you will scale into the top leadership role.

What your weeks will actually look like:

• Day 1 & 2: Writing clean, scalable code (.NET, C#, Node.js, React) to build new features on our IIoT platform.
• Day 3: Putting on a hard hat, going into a noisy manufacturing plant in the Oradea region, and connecting our software to heavy industrial machinery (PLCs, Modbus, OPC UA).
• Day 4: Sitting in a boardroom doing a pre-sales technical demo to a factory manager, explaining why our solution is better than the competition.
• Day 5: Translating client feedback directly into new product architecture.

Who you are (The "High Agency" profile):

• You are a self-starter: You don’t wait for a perfectly detailed Jira ticket. You see a problem, you figure out a solution, and you build it.
• You have a Maker Mindset: You love technology beyond the screen. Maybe you’ve played with Arduino/Raspberry Pi, built your own PC, or tried to start a small side-business during university.
• You are fearless with hardware/ambiguity: You are not afraid to step into a factory, look at undocumented legacy industrial equipment, and figure out how to extract data from it.
• You communicate clearly: You can talk tech with developers, but you can also talk business and ROI with non-technical clients.

Technical Foundation:

• Solid experience (or exceptional academic/personal projects) in Software Development (.Net/C#, JavaScript/TypeScript, Node.js, React).
• Bonus: Knowledge of industrial protocols, networking, or embedded systems.
