National Instruments, now the T&M division of Emerson is looking for a new Software Engineer. As a  Full Stack developer, you will join a team working on the SystemLink product line. With the help of  SystemLink, our customers, manage their Lab equipment remotely, collect data, and can define and execute analytics and reporting at scale, to draw actionable insights that allow them to innovate faster while optimizing their operating costs, maintenance, and uptime!

In this Role, Your Responsibilities Will Be:

• Research, propose and implement high-quality, scalable, and testable designs that adhere to the company and industry best practices  
• Work following an agile development process  
• Grow and share knowledge within your team and across other teams/sites  
• Strive towards continuous improvement  

Who You Are: You readily action new challenges, without unnecessary planning. You persist in accomplishing objectives despite obstacles and setbacks.You effectively communicate in various settings: one-on-one, small and large groups, or among diverse styles and position levels.

For this Role, You will Need:

• Experience with web application development in a microservices environment(.NET/JavaScript or equivalent) 
• Experience with distributed systems  
• Experience with REST/ HTTP API design 
• Experience with Database design (SQL, NoSQL, etc.) 
• Design for testability  

Preferred Qualifications that Set You Apart:

• Experience with Message Bus frameworks  
• Experience with C++, Python, Jupyter Hub  
• Experience with Continuous Delivery,  
• AWS or equivalent cloud providers experience
